Sponsor an Oral History Collection

Why sponsor a Collection?

We actively seek funding to produce Oral History Collections. With your, or your organisation’s sponsorship of a particular Oral History Collection, please be assured that our collections offer measurable results, which will be invaluable to your sector and the wider community now, and into the future. You will also help to fortify Ireland’s unique oral history in the context of your desired collection (e.g. business, sport, politics, religion), archiving it for future generations before it disappears.

Benefit from sponsorship

By sponsoring a collection, the logo of your business will have prominent visibility at our regular collection launches in such venues as The National Library, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and the RDS. These launches are invariably very well attended and attract wide media attention. Indeed we were delighted when The 1916 Rising Oral History Collection was launched by President Michael D. Higgins at the National Library in January 2016.  Details of your sponsorship will appear prominently on our website, our monthly newsletter and our regular social media posts, which all have a significant following.
