Catherine O’Leary relates her recollections of the twenties and thirties in Clonsilla. She recalled the devastating effects of tuberculosis on the community, the hardships of the Emergency Period, memories of Clonsilla House and the stories handed down to her about her uncles, who were all involved in the military. It was most interesting to record her stories about her time as an employee at Eason’s of O’Connell Street.
